More Information on Ame & Lulu

Based in Brookline, Massachusetts, Ame and Lulu has found a very stable niche in the sporting goods market since its inception in 2003. It began when Amye Kurson, the company visionary, was a golfer on the quest to find a trendy, fun, yet sophisticated set of golf headcovers. After searching through boutiques and pro shops, she was surprised by the lack of such sports accessories. Amye sought to put an end to the void and designed her own prototypes for golf headcovers, shoe bags, tennis bags, and yoga bags. The stylish fabric and dulcet colors have become a match for those seeking to make a fashion statement while playing in the great outdoors.

Adding "notes" to Existing Springfield Theme

If you have the old Springfield theme and would like to add notes, here’s how you do it.

1. Copy Tumblr’s “basic style sheet” for their notes feature below:

ol.notes {
    padding: 0px;
    margin: 25px 0px;
    list-style-type: none;
    border-bottom: solid 1px #ccc;
}

ol.notes li.note {
    border-top: solid 1px #ccc;
    padding: 10px;
}

ol.notes li.note img.avatar {
    vertical-align: -4px;
    margin-right: 10px;
    width: 16px;
    height: 16px;
}

ol.notes li.note span.action {
    font-weight: bold;
}

ol.notes li.note .answer_content {
    font-weight: normal;
}

ol.notes li.note blockquote {
    border-color: #eee;
    padding: 4px 10px;
    margin: 10px 0px 0px 25px;
}

ol.notes li.note blockquote a {
    text-decoration: none;
}

2. Then paste it somewhere in the CSS before “</style>” Here is a guide
3. Scroll down the theme a bit until you reach “<!— Permalink Dates —>” Scroll down a bit more and locate the section as shown. It might look a little different, but the content is the same.
4. Copy the following code:

and paste it right after

<a href="#disqus_thread">Comments</a>

5. Make sure you repeat it twice as shown.

Update: Added Flickr Badge Integration

January 24th: I know it doesn’t look any different than the previous Flickr feature, but this time I’ve made it so the photos will update in sync your Flickr account.

I used a Flickr badge and integrated it with this theme.

I added a “How to” post here so you call can add it if you want.

If you’re already using this theme and want to add this feature, my recommendation is that you just reinstall the theme. But if you only want the Flickr feature, then you’ll have to open the Theme Code and copy in the new Flickr CSS, Flickr HTML, and Flickr Script.

The previous “Download” link has been updated to accommodate this feature.
